Sequence
- Record condition photographically with the marker in frame before any intervention.
- Strip loose render by hand; no mechanical cutting on original fabric.
- Extract salts with clay poultice at the rising damp line; allow two drying cycles.
- Re-point and rebuild the base course with clay + chopped hay mortar, matching the existing mix.
- Re-seat timber lintels in jujube / tamarisk, packed with stone and mud.
- Lay the plastic isolator at the base to break capillary rise; reinstate the gypsum band.
- Capture post-repair state and close the loop in the ledger.
No cement, no modern render, no replacement of original fabric beyond what the measurement requires. Any deviation is a scope change requiring engineer sign-off.
